Join our virtual charity event to fight Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s disease may affect anyone of us. That’s why we are supporting the work of the Alzheimer’s research foundation “Alzheimer Forschung Initiative e.V.”
With every kilometre you run, walk or simply move forward we donate 5 euros to the “Alzheimer Forschung Initiative e.V.“ until a maximum amount of 30’000 euros is reached. Your registration fee of 5 euros also goes to the research foundation.
How it works
Sign up
It’s simple. Just register here with your name and email address. It is your choice if you walk or run or simply move forward. The confirmation email contains a link to upload your result.
Walk or run or simply move forward
Finish your move between the 7th and the 21st of March 2024. Use any running app on your smartphone or a GPS watch to track your move.
Upload your result
Upload a screenshot of your app or take a photo of your watch. The distance as per your upload will be converted into a donation of 5 euros per full kilometre. The upload must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on the 21st of March 2024.

Alzheimer’s
Alzheimer’s disease – also known as Alzheimer’s dementia – is the most common form of dementia and an incurable disorder of the brain. Nerve cells in the brain die off which causes people with Alzheimer’s to become increasingly forgetful, confused, and ultimately disoriented. As the disease progresses, the memory, consciousness, and personality of those affected are destroyed. This is a very painful and tormenting process for both patients and their families.
The “Alzheimer Forschung Initiative e.V.” has been working to find a cure for more than 25 years. However, Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia are complex diseases that are still not fully understood.
